Aria is ready for her next chapter—one filled with patience, love, and understanding. This gentle girl has had a tough start, but with the right family, she’ll blossom into the loyal companion she’s meant to be.

Aria is a 13-month-old, 41-pound Great Pyrenees/Doodle mix, and the story of a true rescue. Found in neglectful conditions with five other dogs—likely her family—she has learned to rely on the cues of other dogs to navigate the world. Because of this, she would do best with a confident but friendly canine sibling of similar size to help guide her. She is incredibly submissive and thrives in a calm, structured environment.

Aria is fully potty-trained and crate-trained, with her crate serving as her safe space. She has no fear-based aggression, though she will bark when she’s uncertain. While she is slow to trust, she is making steady progress and has recently started allowing pets from her foster family. She wants to be near her people but isn’t a dog who will be in your lap—perfect for someone who appreciates a little personal space.

Aria is still learning to walk on a leash and will need continued desensitization training to build her confidence. Her decompression period will be measured in months rather than days, so she needs a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. But with love and consistency, she will reward you with companionship and unwavering loyalty.

Aria’s adoption fee is $700. She is HW negative, current on all HW/flea preventatives, spayed, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Aria a second chance.
