Meet Rhubarb aka Rhu, aka Roo, aka Roux in case you’re a fan of Cajun food! On top of a stellar cool name, this Dood is Robert Redford-in-his-prime handsome! He has a face and smile that makes you light up when you see him. Rhu came to DDR as a stray, and while we don’t know Rhu’s full history, we can predict his future: full of love and cuddles in a furever home. Rhu is a happy and balanced dog. He loves to go on walks and is up for a good puppy romp, but doesn’t say no to a nice snooze during the day. Rhu is super smart, too, and will need a consistent training routine to bring out his full potential. Rhu says “boo” to crates, and prefers his own bed at night.

A large fenced yard and someone home during the day is the best place for Rhu. Rhu does not know how he feels about being left alone and will need some help adjusting to what is normal. He is also not familiar with the concept of personal space, but while he’s there, feel free to give him a nice brushing if you don’t mind. He would like a playmate with similar energy and size. An active family is a great fit for him as well.

Rhubarb is HW negative, current on all vaccines/HW/flea and tick preventatives, neutered and micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $700.
