On December 7 Doodle Dandy Rescue received a call from a nearby shelter needing help with 20 dogs confiscated from one home. The backyard breeder/puppy mill was being shut down by the authorities after receiving a very concerning report. The dogs and puppies are poodles and schnauzers and schnoodle mixes. DDR stepped up to rescue nine dogs, one of whom is pregnant and ready to delivery her babies any day now.
Doodle Dandy Rescue is a 100% volunteer organization funded by donations. We are in desperate need of donations to provide food, medical, dental, surgical and obstetrical care for our unexpected new arrivals. Can you help us help these babies? We have ear infections, teeth that need dental care, post-operative (spay) care, vet visits for vaccines and neutering and all types of evaluations.
