Valentine's Day with your Beloved Doodle: Dog Treat Ideas

Here are a few easy homemade dog treat ideas you can whip up for your loving and loyal furry friend on Valentine's Day.

Peanut Butter and Banana Hearts

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (unsweetened, xylitol-free/birch sugar-free)

  • 1 cup oat flour


Directions:

  • Mash the banana and mix it with the peanut butter.

  • Slowly add the oat flour to form dough.

  • Roll it out and use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut the dough into heart shapes.

  • Bake at 350°F for about 10-12 minutes until firm.


Carrot and Apple Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour

  • 1/4 cup grated carrots

  • 1/4 cup applesauce

  • 1 egg


Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  • You can freeze these treats to make them last longer, or bake them at 350°F for 20-25 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

  • 1/2 cup pureed strawberries


Directions:

  • Mix the yogurt and strawberries together, pour into ice cube trays or silicone molds, and freeze.
